On the symposium, the Management Committee of China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park has signed cooperation agreements with China Communications Construction Industry Development & Operation Alliance Congress, Guangxi Chuangui International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and CAWM Cold Chain Logistics Co., Ltd. respectively.
Since this year, the Customs of Qinzhou Port has took action initiatively, grasped the construction opportunities of new land-sea corridor in the West China, optimized the business operation environment continuously, pushed forward the efficiency raising and fees reduction in the port, improved the monitoring and customs clearance facilities of the port, strengthened monitoring efficiency and service quality, and promoted the substantial growth of import and export volume of foreign trade.
It was estimated that the freight volume (including bulk cargos) of foreign trade containers supervised by the Customs of Qinzhou Port was 5.337 million tons from January to April this year, which increased by 62.5% compared with that of last year; the gross volume of import and export was 9.438 billion yuan, which increased by 65.78% compared with that of last year; the amount of tax revenue was 0.668 billion yuan, whose year-on-year growth rate was 39.8%; and the number of declaration forms of import and export was 12,941, with the year-on-year growth rate of 48.47%. Particularly, the import volume of fruits in Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area from January to April this year increased substantially, and the accumulated amount of fruits was 17,400 tons, whose value was 0.189 billion yuan, increasing by 4.31 times and 4.8 times compared with those of last year respectively. More than 90% of imported fruits came from Thailand, which mainly were fresh longan, fresh durian and fresh mangosteen. The construction of “Green Channel” for fruit importing will be in full swing continuously, along with the release of transportation capacity of China-Thailand fruit shipping lane of Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area, and the fruit import of Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area will keep the rapid growth impetus continuously.
